There is a large number of searches on Google by people trying to understand
the costs associated with performing an ISO audit and ISO Certification.

Firstly, its important to note that these are two separate costs.
Secondly, ISO Certification Costs or fees are typically based on the scope of work
that needs to be performed. Many Certifying companies will request that the company wishing to
be certified complete a questionnaire. The questionnaire is designed to determine a number of items
about the subject Company's business.

Some of the questions asked are: Sites to be covered in the audit? Some companies have multiple sites
                 Is the company design responsible
                 Does the company have any outsourced processes
                What is the current status of the company's registration? Have they been registered before? Has it lapsed

These are just a small sampling of the questions that would be asked by a Certifying company.

 I get this question all the time. Here are some of the common ones I hear all the time. It's costly. We can't afford it. Why should we spend that money. It serves no purpose. It's a waste of time.
